We Take Care of Our Associates
Our Caring Culture extends to the ways we provide for our associates. We offer qualifying associates a comprehensive range of employer-subsidized, competitive medical, dental and vision benefits packages as well as a wellness program that rewards associates with benefit credits to offset medical premiums. We also tier our associate premium co-pays according to income levels, and we provide employer-paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance.
We also help our associates plan for retirement by providing a robust 401(k) plan with a generous Company match. Associates enrolled in the program can receive a 75, 100 or 125 percent match on their contribution of up to six percent of their annual income, depending on their vested service with the Company.
We understand that spending time with family is important too, which is why we offer eligible associates a variety of paid time-off opportunities including vacation, holidays and sick leave, which increases with tenure. In addition to offering eligible associates up to six weeks of paid maternity leave, through our paid parental leave program, we welcome all new additions—biological, fostered and adopted— into the SCI family and offer mothers and fathers two weeks paid time-off for baby bonding, as well as financial assistance for adoptions.
We understand the impact of the loss of a loved one and provide generous bereavement leave, as well as discounts on funeral and cemetery products and services for both immediate and extended family members.
